Current medical wisdom advises that anyone suffering from diabetes or prediabetes should eat a low-carbohydrate, high-fat diet. But in this revolutionary audiobook, Cyrus Khambatta, PhD, and Robby Barbaro, MPH, rely on a century of research to show that advice is misguided. While it may improve short-term blood glucose control, such a diet also increases the long-term risk for chronic diseases like cancer, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, chronic kidney disease, and fatty liver disease. The revolutionary solution is to eat a low-fat plant-based whole-food diet.

  • How The Life Without Diabetes Diet Plan Works

“Life Without Diabetes” by Rod Taylor – Is Diabetes REALLY Reversible?

For best results, here are my three simple stages

Stage 1 An eating plan of shakes and soups totalling around 600 calories a day plus one 100-calorie helping of non-starchy veg to trigger the swift fat loss your body needs to put type 2 diabetes into remission.

Stage 2 Once you have lost 15kg or reached your target weight and your diabetes is in remission, reintroduce ordinary foods, one meal at a time until the liquid meals have been phased out.

Stage 3 For long-term weight maintenance, stick to three meals a day of small portions of healthy food .

Understanding And Reversing Type 2 Diabetes With Caveats

Reviewers Note: I am not a doctor or a physician. I am a mere book reviewer and am just giving my thoughts on this book as a layperson affected with type 2 diabetes. I would strongly advise that you get advice about the disease and the book authors course of treatments not from me or this book review, but by consulting with your family doctor or a nurse first.

Im sheepish to admit this after all, there are probably certain things you shouldnt admit on the Internet but for this book review, dealing with a book offering treatment of a deadly disease, I probably need to say that I suffer from type 2 diabetes. I had it once, lost a lot of weight and went into remission, but then gained the weight back and my friend showed up on my doorstep once more. Im now trying to lose weight through a combination of killing myself at the gym and trying to eat healthier . My dad has been after me to read books from the library on the condition, but, you know, I already have too many books to read ! However, just the other day, a book came up over the usual ways I snag pre-release copies of books titled Life Without Diabetes, and I thought, How wonderful! I can learn something about my type 2 diabetes and how to reverse it, and please my old man at the same time! Hence, this review.

Then he turns a corner, and thats where I had trouble with this book.

Of course, if you like what you see, please recommend this piece and share it with your followers.
